Frequently Asked Questions
MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS AND AUTOPAY (16 Classes per Month):
Q: How many classes in advance can I book before the system tells me I am at max?
A: After you book 16 classes for the month, the system will tell you that you are at the max. The waitlist is the loophole. If you get added to class from the waitlist, the system will allow it (and then we charge you manually). However, if you cancel a class (after getting added from a waitlist) and go back to book another, the system will not let you. The other exception is if you purchase extra class passes, you will be able to schedule classes for as many passes that you have. However, if you are on Autopay, the system will let you book unpaid.
Q: How Far in advance can I book classes?
A: You can sign up for classes 30 days in advance. Your best option to schedule classes is using autopay @ the current rate (minimum 3 months). Autopay allows you to book classes unpaid as long as you are booking within the 30-day window.
If you have a First Month Membership (FMM), we can start your Autopay the day after your first month expires so that your payment kicks in the day after your FMM expires, but you can book classes (as long as it’s only 30 days out). We can help you sign up for Autopay.
Q: Can my Intro offer (First Month Membership) count as the 3-month requirement for Autopay? I will only be here for a total of three months.
A: Unfortunately, not, but we can put you on Autopay for the current rate and you still get the benefit of booking unpaid.
WAITLISTS:
Q: Can you tell me how the waitlist works?
A: A few things about the waitlist.
When you receive notification that you have been added to class from the waitlist, know you have already been added even if there is a note in MINDBODY that says unconfirmed. MINDBODY asks for confirmation but that’s just a formality.
If you don’t want to attend the class, you have to go into your account and cancel. The cancelation window is 12 hours for all classes. Make sure you cancel outside that window or you will be charged a fee.
Also be careful if you add yourself to two waitlists the same day. It’s possible you can get added to two classes. You will be charged a drop-in fee for that second class. It’s important that you manage your schedule.
Q: Let's say I signed up for a class next Wednesday and also signed up for a class on the wait list on the same Wednesday. I would rather take the waitlist class, but signed up for the other class just in case I didn't get the wait listed class. Even though I am signed up for a class already, will the system let me off the waitlist into the class I want to be in?
A: If you are on Autopay, you can get added to class from a waitlist even though you have 4 classes scheduled in a week. Please be considerate of others who want to book the classes you are already in. You will be charged a drop-in fee for the waitlisted class.
You will never get added to a class inside the 12-hour window, but you may get added 12 hours and 1 minute before. If you cancel either of those classes inside the 12-hour cancellation period you will get charged.
AUTOPAY:
Q: Can you tell me how Autopay Works?
A:
A client’s Autopay DATE is always the same. If the client signs up for Autopay on the 15th of the month, they will always be charged on the 15th.
The Membership actually begins on the date that the client first books a class. If the client books their first class on the 17th, the month will run from the 17th to the 17th. In that month, the client may book 16 classes.
Example:
Autopay pay date is 9/15 and then repeats every month on the same day.
Client books first class on 9/17, the month runs from 9/17 - 10/17. 16 classes can be booked between 9/17 - 10/17.
If a client books 16 classes, then books another class, the 17th class is unpaid.
If a client is added to a class from the waitlist, that class is listed as unpaid, even if the date is inside of the month. It will not be reassigned to the 16 classes.
Each unpaid class gets charged a $26 class fee.
Benefits of Autopay
Client can book beyond the date of their package expiration ( as long as it is inside of the 30 day window). This is key as it allows clients to book their favorite classes in advance of their next month.
Client gets a discount from regularly priced Monthly Membership
